How to Make Biodegradable Sanitary Pads
Tayue offers customizable production of biodegradable sanitary pads. Our 100% biodegradable sanitary pads feature a top sheet made of 100% cotton spun lace non-woven fabric, free from fluorescent whitening agents. The inner core consists of 100% natural high-quality cotton, with long fibers selected for enhanced fluffiness and breathability. Our compostable sanitary pads do not contain any chemicals, wood pulp, or super absorbent polymers (SAP), resulting in a thinner and more comfortable design compared to ordinary pads.
Are Biodegradable Pads Safe?
Biodegradable pads, typically made from cotton, bamboo, starch, and corn fiber, do not contain chemicals, making them fully degradable and reducing the risk of plastic buildup. Some benefits of using biodegradable pads for periods include:
- Rash and Irritation-Free: Biodegradable sanitary pads made from plant-based materials are safer and more comfortable to use, reducing the risk of skin reactions compared to plastic pads.
- Safer Option: Biodegradable pads are a safer alternative, as plastic pads can cause infections and reactions that may affect fertility.
- Plastic-Free: With no plastic content, biodegradable sanitary pads pose virtually zero health hazards and have no adverse environmental impact.
- Fragrance-Free: No chemicals are added to fragrance, reducing the risk of skin reactions experienced by some individuals with scented period products.
Replacing plastic with eco-friendly nonwovens for hygiene benefits both users and the environment, providing unparalleled comfort and peace of mind when using biodegradable sanitary pads.
How to Dispose of Biodegradable Sanitary Pads?
Biodegradable sanitary pads are compostable and classified as brown compost, similar to materials such as straw, cardboard, and wood. They decompose slower than green wastes like grass and vegetable peels. For biodegradable sanitary pads made of cotton and PLA, it is recommended to compost for at least 120 days before use.
